BUS TRANSPORTATION FOR
2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR
The East Baton Rouge Parish School System Transportation Department is employing a new transportation Opt-In Program for the 2022-2023 school year. The Opt-In Program is designed for families of school-aged children who plan to take the school bus to get to or from school.
Families who choose not to complete the survey will be responsible for transporting their student(s) to and from school.
If parents choose not to opt-in for bus services, it will not impact their child(ren)’s ability to ride district-provided transportation to field trips, athletics events, during emergency evacuations, etc.
If you do not complete the transportation request form on the district website, you will be responsible for transporting your child to and from school.
Students who live within a one-mile radius from their home school are to be self-transported.

Parents may opt-in at any time with the link provided below, and a bus route and stop will be assigned to the child(ren).
