HYBRID LEARNING TRANSITION PLAN

September 28 - October 16, 2020

DAILY STRUCTURE

Group 1 (A-K)

Students with the last names beginning with A-K will attend school in person on Monday and Tuesday. This group will learn virtually Wednesday-Friday.

Group 2 (L-Z)

Students with the last names beginning with L-Z will attend school in person on Thursday and Friday. This group will learn virtually Monday-Wednesday.

  • Students in low-incident, self-contained classrooms will attend school four days a week: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, Friday. 

  • School buildings will undergo extensive cleanings on Wednesdays. All students will attend virtually.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

  • All students, staff, visitors and vendors will be required to wear a mask or face covering  upon entering the building.

  • Face coverings should be worn in all areas of the school.

  • All students and staff will follow the face coverings Do’s and Don’ts.

  • Staff may wear face shields during direct instruction while maintaining social distancing.

MORNING PROCEDURES - BUS RIDERS

  • Face coverings and ID’s are required upon arrival.

  • Buses will be unload two at a time following social distancing guidelines.

  • Students will enter the building through their designated hallways in a single file line, walking on the green line to the right.

  • Upon entry, students will use sanitation stations and  temperature checks will take place. 

  • Students with high temperature readings (100.4 or higher) will isolate in the Library RM-2  for parent pick-up. 

  • Students will pick-up a grab and go breakfast and report to their homeroom class.

MORNING PROCEDURES - CAR RIDERS

  • Face coverings and ID’s required are upon arrival.

  • Car riders should come through the carpool line at the front of the school. 

  • No cars should enter the bus lanes to drop off students.

  • Students are not allowed to exit vehicles until a temperature check has been conducted.  

  • Students with a temperature reading of 100.4 or higher will be required to return home with a parent or guardian.

  • Students with an adequate temperature will receive a sticker/bracelet to enter the building.

  • Students should walk around to the bus loading area and enter through their designated hallway.

  • Students will walk on the green line to the right following social distancing guidelines.

  • Students will pick-up a grab and go breakfast and report to their homeroom class.

BICYCLE RIDERS/WALKERS

  • Face coverings and ID’s are required upon arrival.

  • Students should walk around to the bus loading area, have their temperature checked and enter through their designated hallway.

  • Students will walk on the green line to the right following social distancing guidelines.

  • Students will pick-up a grab and go breakfast and report to their homeroom class.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

  • All students must be assigned their own bag/box of manipulatives to use for the remainder of the year. Supplies brought by students should ONLY be used by that student.

  • If small groups use the same materials, those materials must be disinfected before another cohort uses them.

  • Students must use their assigned device throughout the remainder of the school year. These devices should be properly charged and brought to school each day.
